The FlapSpeed® PRO with Integrated Saturation Curve Solver, meeting BAC5730-2 rev D

Shockform is the proud manufacturer (OEM) of the FlapSpeed® PRO. The only closed loop RPM controller designed specifically for Rotary Flapper Peening and meeting Boeing BAC5730-2 rev D, new method A.

The new completely re-designed FlapSpeed® PRO offers many significant improvements over our older models. The most notable improvement is the incorporation of a saturation curve solver in the control software. Generating a saturation curve to ensure proper intensity has never been easier and faster. The FlapSpeed PRO also features a much smaller handpiece grinder along with a 25 ft (7.7 m) cord for increased flexibility. The interior includes a foam with space for flaps, mandrels, magnetic block, magnifier, almen gage and almen strips. The complete unit is now much smaller at 27 lbs (12.3 kg) fully loaded and it travels very comfortably with its integrated wheels and handle.

– Large robust 5.7 inch (145mm) QVGA color touch screen user interface
– Integrated Saturation Curve Solver with 2 types of magnetic correction (3M/SAE AMS2590 and 0.77)
– Small and powerful handpiece grinder with 25 ft (7.7m) cord
– Optimal rotational speed maintained at all times
– Automatically stops and sounds an alarm, if process limits are not respected
– Records critical process data to USB key
– Stopwatch and Countdown timer
– Multiple Languages and Measurement Units (inches and millimeters)
